Waigaoqiao's Global Hub initiative kindles Armenian brands' interest in Chinese market

Shanghai's Waigaoqiao Group hosted a promotion event in Yerevan, Armenia, on July 29, introducing its innovative "Global Hub" platform to deepen economic and trade cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the event, the project team from Waigaoqiao's Operations Center Company presented details about the "Global Hub" one-stop supply chain service and the Country-Specific Pavilion Program. Armenian representatives engaged in thorough discussions regarding policy support and market access. Several local enterprises immediately expressed strong cooperation intentions after understanding how the country pavilions could effectively facilitate their products' entry into the Chinese market, demonstrating significant partnership potential between the two sides.

The promotion attracted active participation from nearly 50 representatives of Armenia's leading enterprises across multiple industries. Notable brands included Ohanyan in wines, Haterk in confectionery, Rocarm in mineral water, Mauntea in teas, and Apache in coffee.

This enthusiastic involvement has established a solid foundation for future collaboration in e-commerce, digital services, and two-way investment between Chinese and Armenian businesses.

The event marks another important step in Waigaoqiao Group's efforts to expand international trade connectivity under the Belt and Road framework, while creating new opportunities for Armenian products to access the vast Chinese consumer market through the “Global Hub” platform's specialized services.
