The tenant recruitment for Sunland InCity has started recently under the theme "Following Sunland."
According to the Shanghai Commercial Space Layout Special Plan (2022-2035), the Sunland business district—comprising Sunland InCity, Sunland Mall, and numerous commercial projects—has been officially elevated to a regional-level commercial center for the first time.
The Pudong New Area Commerce Commission expressed expectations that under the broader vision of actively promoting Pudong's development as an international consumption hub, Sunland InCity will become a new highlight in northern Pudong. The project aims to attract high-quality brands and IPs, establishing itself as a gathering place for international brands, a trendsetting hub for fashion, a source of innovative consumption, and an area with optimal business conditions.
As a new-concept commercial landmark in northern Pudong, Sunland InCity is located at the intersection of Zhangyang Road N. and Dongjing Road, seamlessly connected to Metro Line 6 and the under-construction Line 21. With a total gross floor area of approximately 180,000 square meters, the project includes 1,000 parking spaces.
The architectural design, led by the internationally renowned firm Woods Bagot, draws inspiration from Sunland's "forest-inspired" ecological advantages. The complex forms a "Sunland Valley" themed around sunlight illuminating the earth and rising energy, featuring distinctive spaces such as a sunken courtyard, a rainbow bridge, and a rooftop sports park, all interconnected within the commercial system.
Sunland InCity adopts an innovative model combining "shopping center + sports center + community center." In addition to its above-ground and underground retail offerings, the project includes a 9,000-square-meter community service center featuring the Sunland Concert Hall, community reading rooms, an art gallery, and a children's center, a 9,000-square-meter civic sports center with comprehensive sports facilities, a fitness center, and a swimming pool, and a 5,000-square-meter outdoor sports park.
