The Sunland Dragon Boat Training Base, jointly established by the Sunland Commercial Operations Company, a subsidiary of the Waigaoqiao Group, and the Shanghai Peisheng Dragon Boat Sports Club, was officially unveiled, marking the beginning of the 2025 Sunland dragon boat season.
Amid the powerful beats of drums, the Greentown Shanghai Yuyuan Dragon Boat Team initiated their training on the rippling waters of Sunland Lake.
The base will provide dragon boat teams with boats, venues, and training facilities, arrange for professional coaches to be on-site, and plans to launch activities such as dragon boat culture education and youth dragon boat training.
As the first qualified water activity operation and management entity in the Pudong New Area, Sunland Commercial Operations Company successfully hosted the "Sunland Cup" Urban Dragon Boat Race in 2024. With the unveiling of the dragon boat training base, the company will continue to pioneer new milestones in the development of "commercial-sports-cultural-tourism" integration, attracting more citizens to participate in sports and cultural consumption.
