Xinzhi Group, China's leading manufacturer of core motor components, has partnered with the Xin Development Company under the Waigaoqiao Group to move its Shanghai R&D Center to the Waigaoqiao XINeocity 3.0 industrial community.
Unlike traditional 1.0 manufacturing parks or 2.0 urban CBD office buildings, Waigaoqiao XINeocity is creating a "3.0 industrial community" where young people can work, live, and relax.
With multiple strategic advantages and an outstanding innovation ecosystem, the XINeocity 3.0 industrial community has attracted over 200 global leading companies. It features three themed industrial parks: an intelligent manufacturing services park, a biopharmaceutical park, and an automotive-themed park.
In recent years, the industrial ecosystem's advantages have also attracted a number of "new wave" companies. Many have established "R&D + manufacturing" models here, leading the smart upgrade of related industries.
For instance, Shanghai Baiya Electric Intelligent Technology Co Ltd has established the first production and R&D base in Shanghai here, leveraging Baiya's high-tech capabilities to drive innovation in manufacturing with new productive forces.
Thanks to the advantages of free trade zone policies and the innovative industrial layout and service enhancement measures of the Xin Park, Micronano Technology has also set up its Asia-Pacific assembly and after-sales support center here.
Zhou Fabiao, general manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Xin Development Co Ltd, said that the goal of Xin Park is to ultimately form a "production, city, and people" integrated 3.0 industrial community.
"The community emerges to meet the needs of industrial upgrading and urban development, emphasizing the integration of industry and city, breaking the geographical boundaries of traditional industrial parks, making spaces more open, corporate ecosystems more diverse, and community interactions more active," he said.
