Agilent Technologies, located in the Waigaoqiao Xin Development Park, announced the expansion of its product range at the Shanghai Manufacturing Center, which marks a further enhancement of Agilent's local manufacturing capabilities in Shanghai and injects new momentum into the company's future development.
Agilent said that it will adhere to a localization strategy, leveraging the Shanghai Manufacturing Center to further expand its product and service offerings. This includes new product models such as liquid chromatography instruments, cell analyzers, and liquid mass spectrometers, to better meet the needs of domestic customers and enhance local manufacturing capabilities.
"In the future, the Agilent Shanghai Manufacturing Center will continue to focus on improving production efficiency and technological innovation, providing higher quality localized products and solutions for the Chinese market," said Zhu Bin, general manager of Agilent Technologies (Shanghai) Co Ltd.
In recent years, Agilent has consistently increased its investment in the Shanghai Manufacturing Center, enriching its business segments and product lines. In December 2023, the Shanghai Manufacturing Center was recognized as a municipal-level smart factory by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization.
