Bard Medical, a key enterprise in the Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, has obtained the class II medical device filing certificate and class III medical device business license for its self-operated medical device distribution center project. The first batch of its imported products has completed the import filing and entered the zone for operations.
Bard Medical is a subsidiary of the global medical device giant BD Medical Group. BD, with a history of 127 years, is committed to improving patient clinical treatments and aiding healthcare professionals in enhancing clinical processes through the development of innovative technologies, services and solutions.
In January of this year, the Bard Medical Device Distribution Center was launched. The distribution center in the Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone covers about 8,600 square meters and is equipped with a constant temperature and humidity high-standard warehouse provided by the Waigaoqiao Group, meeting the storage standards for medical devices.
Bard Medical stated that the distribution center will serve as a pilot to undertake the business needs of the East China region for the next five to 10 years, helping to achieve long-term growth and expansion.
