The production base of Shanghai EaseCare Medical Device Co Ltd has officially commenced operations in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone. The facility spans 6,500 square meters with a total investment of approximately 300 million yuan (US$41.38 million).
EaseCare specializes in the research and development, production and manufacturing of high-end guide wires and catheters in the field of major interventions. Its end customers include leading domestic and international medical device companies.
EaseCare aims to create a comprehensive medical device service platform in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, offering a one-stop solution from product incubation to pre-market launch, thereby accelerating the rapid market entry of medical devices.
The establishment of EaseCare will further accelerate the completion of the medical device industry chain in the bonded area, promote the shift from trade-dominated to a balanced development of trade and R&D manufacturing, and further support the construction of an international medical device manufacturing base in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone bonded area.
