MoU on 6 reform pilots for Waigaoqiao signed

The Pudong Market Supervision Bureau and Waigaoqiao Group Holdings signed a memorandum of understanding to launch six reform pilots to improve the innovation platform and supervision of special equipment, especially vehicles in industrial parks and tourist attractions.

The reforms will be carried out in the aspects including administrative licensing, examination demands, pre-checks, skills training centers, license applications and civil responsibility insurance.

After the reforms, the licensing time will be cut from two months to only five days, according to officials.

Last year, over 2,000 internal transfer vehicles, such as forklifts for industrial parks and off-the-road tourism vehicles, were imported via the Waigaoqiao Foreign Trading Center for Engineering Machinery.
