The standing committee of the national people’s congress has discussed the scope of application of Article 158 and Article 159 of the Criminal Law in respect to both companies subject to the paid-in capital registration system and subscribed capital registration system after amendment to the company law, and interpretation is hereby given as follows:
The provisions under Article 158 and Article 159 of the Criminal Law apply only to companies subject to the paid-in capital registration system in accordance with the law.
The interpretation is hereby announced.
