The Vietnam National Center and the UAE National Center have signed agreements to settle into and begin operations at the Waigaoqiao Global Hub.
This brings the total number of national pavilions and commodity centers from "Silk Road E-commerce" partner countries on the platform to 20.
The Vietnam Center focuses on featured Southeast Asian products, while the UAE Center showcases distinctive Middle Eastern goods, including gold jewelry, traditional handicrafts, specialty fragrances, premium chocolates, as well as high-quality agarwood and saffron, offering a rich display of regional culture.
Behind this clustering effect is Waigaoqiao's robust, full-chain support for international trade. By establishing a comprehensive trade service system covering market access, exhibition, sales, warehousing, and logistics, Waigaoqiao has embedded trade services throughout the entire lifecycle for overseas brands entering the Chinese market.
In late last year, the 2025 CIIE U-Fair was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). At this consumer event, dubbed the "Mini CIIE," the Global Hub presented over 100 imported products from nearly 20 countries and regions. From Australian beef and Chilean wine to Argentine mate tea and Syrian laurel soap, the diverse range of goods and interactive experiences effectively extended the spillover effect of the China International Import Expo.
At the fair, the Waigaoqiao Operations Center Company helped spotlight the debut product of New Zealand's treasured brand, Pacific Alpacas, a premium alpaca fiber mattress, which became a focus for buyers. The brand has now established its presence in China and plans to further expand its product lines in the market.
Beyond product introduction and market promotion, the Global Hub platform also actively fosters cross-border cooperation between enterprises through offline events.
At the upcoming "Embarking on the China-Hungary Golden Waterway" corporate globalization exchange seminar on January 14, Waigaoqiao will build a platform connecting more Chinese and Hungarian enterprises with market resources, collaboratively addressing challenges in global expansion and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.
