Shanghai Waigaoqiao Group Co Ltd signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with BD Medical Devices (Shanghai) Co Ltd at the 6th China International Import Expo.
BD is listed on the United States Fortune 500, ranking top 3 in the global medical device industry, with the widest range of medical device product lines covering medical consumables, laboratory instruments, diagnostic reagents and digital medical solutions, serving clinical, disease control, pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.
"This signing ceremony also reflects BD Medical's determination of continuous deepening of development in Shanghai, increasing investment, seizing policy innovation opportunities and helping Shanghai to build a highland for the medical and pharmaceutical industry," said Deng Jianmin, senior vice president of BD Medical and general manager of the Greater China region.
Relying on the Import Expo's open platform, Waigaoqiao Group and BD Medical will jointly build a strategic partnership in investment and operating decisions, new product and technology introduction, industry chain platform construction and supply chain management.
The two sides will also promote more projects to land in Pudong, including BARD's Equipment Distribution Center.
