In the first half of 2023, the total import and export volume of the three bonded zones in Shanghai reached 562.21 billion yuan (US$77.02 billion), a year-on-year increase of 16.3 percent.
Among them, imports amounted to 400.11 billion yuan, an increase of 12.4 percent, and exports amounted to 162.10 billion yuan, an increase of 27.1 percent.
The three zones include the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, the Waigaoqiao Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and the Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
