The unveiling ceremony of the new location of the Georgia Center was held at the Global Hub in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone on Wednesday.
With its official presence in the Global Hub, the Georgia Center will better showcase Georgia's high-quality red wine products and their long-standing history of wine making, greatly narrowing the communication gap between China and Georgia, and attracting more Georgian wine companies to the Chinese market.
This will play a positive role in deepening communication and cooperation between the two countries and sharing the opportunities of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, said Zhang Hao, vice general manager of Waigaoqiao Group Co Ltd.
Georgian Ambassador Archil Kalandia expressed his gratitude to the Global Hub and the Shanghai FTZ National (Regional) Center for providing such an open platform, allowing more Georgian wines to enter the Chinese market, and promoting economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
