Waigaoqiao is accelerating the construction of a model industry community or an exemplary city-industry integration zone as it began work on the first benchmarking industry park after introducing Sam’s Club China Flagship Store and the Ascott China Flagship Community.
With an investment of 1 billion yuan (US$157 million) by New Development Co Ltd, the new industry park, Xin Park, is made up of 13 buildings. Its total building area will reach 150,000 square meters.
Construction will be completed by the fourth quarter of 2023. The park will focus on attracting high value-added industries such as bio-medicine, smart manufacturing, information technology, etc.
The park is within easy walking distance of the Sam’s Club outlet and Ascott Talents Apartment.
