Construction of Sam’s Club’s Shanghai flagship high-end membership store has started in the Waigaoqiao New Development Zone and it is expected to start business in 2021.
Sam’s Club, an American chain of membership-only retail warehouse clubs, has so far opened 26 stores in China, with a total of 2.3 million club members.
The store will be facilitated with an intelligent parking lot, which will boast more than 1,100 parking places. Covering about 70,000 square meters, the flagship store will offer all-round services, including catering, entertainment, daily life necessities and education.
The Waigaoqiao Bonded area has established an innovative work mechanism such as all-day-round accurate services and a project monitoring system. It takes only two months to finish early preparations after project signing.
